This year we took the decision to reward the outstanding performance of one of our (unfortunately) very few female contenders. Sofia Koukouzeli!

Sofia is every year among those speed surfers , who upload most of the sessions and scoring very remarkable results. Also in 2022 she was the well deserved winner of the female ranking and also ending up on 28th place overall!

By giving the main prize to Sofia we want to recognize her passion for the sport and the performance she is showing every year. Of course, we would like to see more woman competing in 2023 and we also hope this is an encouraging and motivating signal for all the fast girls around!

Karpathos continues to deliver!

Excellent conditions on Karpathos allowed some riders to climb up in the ranking and two German names are now in fourth and fifth place.

No change at the at the Top Three, but it is very close behind.

Over 600 session uploaded, 17.800 km sailed!

Persistence pays off!

Another group of speeders is currently competing on Karpathos. After ten days of preparing and waiting, the 14^th of August brought the expected good speed conditions. Christian Borneman, Tomislav Jaklin and myself (Tim Otte) scored all PBs on that day, Christian scored with 72,60 km/h (39,2 knots) the third best 5×10 sec average this year!

No change at the top of score board, Twan and Eric sitting in a solid lead position, with Alex, Konstantinos and Minos the greek speed elite behind, and four germans now under the Top Ten – and still some time to go!

Over 500 session uploaded, 15.500 km sailed!
